Please be informed that RMC No. 76-2023 has been issued to circularize Wage Order No. NCR-24 which took effect on 16 July 2023.
Under the Wage Order, the basic wage per day of minimum wage earners (“MWEs”) in the private sector in NCR shall be increased by forty pesos (PHP40). Accordingly, the new daily minimum wage rates in NCR shall be as follows:

Said wage increase shall be for the normal working hours not exceeding eight (8) hours per day and shall apply to all MWEs in the private sector within NCR regardless of their position, designation, or status and irrespective of the method by which their wages are paid.
Failure to pay the prescribed wage increase by any liable person or entity shall be subject to the provisions of Section 12 of RA No. 6727, as amended by RA No. 8188.
