CIM Level 6 Certificate in Professional & Digital Marketing

The Diploma in Professional Digital Marketing will give you the practical skills needed to create effective digital strategies and successfully manage digital channels. This CIM Level 6 digital marketing diploma is the equivalent of an undergraduate degree and takes approximately 12 months to complete.

If you wish to become a digital expert and move into a mid-management position or supervisory role, this will be the right qualification for you. The course will ensure you stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing tools and trends.

Module Overview:

  • Strategy and Planning - develop your strategic thinking, giving you the skills to create comprehensive marketing plans to successfully support strategic organisational goals.
  • Societal Impact - understand sustainability and its role in organisational change. You will be able to align marketing strategies with long-term sustainability goals, engaging stakeholders for action.
  • Commercial Intelligence - how to interpret and apply data for strategic decision-making in competitive markets. The module will give you the skills to be able to analyse commercial data to enhance marketing strategies and deliver ROI .
  • Content Strategy - learn how to gain a strategic view to content marketing and its fundamental importance in building trust, relationships and delivering conversions. 
  • AI in Marketing - key concepts of AI, including the role of data and machine learning. You will learn about the application of different AI tools and how to integrate them within a marketing strategy.
  • Ecommerce - learn the skills to develop a successful ecommerce proposition. You will learn about ecommerce website best practice as well as how to build a suitable inbound marketing strategy.
  • Social media management - how to build a successful social media strategy and effectively manage social media channels and communities to drive audience engagement.
  • SEO and Paid Search Management - design an effective search strategy to support an organisation’s wider marketing goals. You will learn how to apply various SEO and paid search best practices to improve search engine visibility.
  • Brand Proposition - driving force behind brand strategy development. You will gain the skills to be able to create a unique brand proposition in increasing competitive markets as well as how to successfully manage a brand.
  • Customer Journey Optimization - learn necessary skills to be able to analyse various touch points within a customer journey, to deliver improvements in conversions and customer satisfaction.

Entry requirements

You should have one of the following: 

  • 2 years’ marketing experience,
  • a previous Level 4 marketing qualification,
  • a marketing degree.

These short courses are weekly one-hour live online classes delivered by OxCom’s expert trainers. All sessions are available to watch again, and course materials can be downloadable via learning platform.
