ZVVZ holding includes a number of joint-stock companies, which operate independently. However, when implementing complex projects, they closely cooperate, to achieve synergy.
Key business activities include development, production, delivery, assembly, and service in segments such as exhaust gas purification, separation and filtration, ventilator production, nuclear power engineering, HVAC systems, and pneumatic conveying.
The company also produces silos and cisterns and performs custom production based on its own or third-party documentation.
The goal of the joint eight-week project was to assess the status of processes and activities performed in the back office and by employees supporting production process who are not directly involved in production.
Almost 280 employees from 5 different companies in the holding and more than 40 departments participated in this extensive mapping.
The first weeks were dedicated to intensive data collection and process mapping and associated activities. This phase was conducted in close cooperation with executive employees.
This systematic approach not only mapped the current status, but also identified opportunities to save capacity in the back office. It also highlighted the potential for digitizing and automating processes, as well as implementing Business Intelligence solutions.
