PwC donated 145 computers to schools and NPOs

This year, we continued the tradition of donating our notebooks to elementary and secondary schools, by gifting 145 computers and 18 monitors. In October and November, Martin Gallovič, Ivo Doležal, Štefan Čupil, Peter Mrnka, Rastislav Petruška, Martin Srnka, and Ondrej Šeban, our partners and directors, handed over computers and monitors to 7 organizations.

Education is one of the main pillars of our corporate responsibility strategy and so we support schools in a number of regions – Rodinná škola o.z. (elementary school) in Banská Bystrica, Gymnázium Ľ. Štúra (grammar school) in Michalovce, ZŠ Vrútocká (elementary school) in Bratislava, ZŠ Vazovova (elementary school) in Bratislava, Súkromné Gymnázium DSA (private grammar school) in Bardejov.

We also donated notebooks to the Children’s Surgery Clinic in Kramáre, Bratislava Hospital, and Jazmín, an NPO in Handlová, which provides crisis intervention services.

At PwC Slovakia, we have a long history of supporting various communities. Our employees are involved in community projects, and we encourage them to assist those in need by offering them diverse opportunities to help others.
