23 students from Delta Secondary School completed an internship at our Bratislava office

After successful cooperation last year, we were very pleased to accept again more than 20 students from the Delta Secondary School in Pardubice, the Czech Republic, which specializes in programming and informatics (www.delta-skola.cz). For a one-month internship as part of the ERASMUS programme in June, they were mentored by PwC specialists from various departments.
One group with 14 students helped our Advisory team with 3 following projects:
- Online programming platform for interviews (web application development and design),
- 3D calendar (internal solution for booking places in the office, extended by a 3D virtual environment, they did the development and design of the application plus modeling of the office and objects in it in 3D, programming of the player in the application...)
- Climatic studies on urban heat islands (they developed an interactive application/article where they visualized satellite images and warming effects in cities)
Other 5 students helped our internal Design team. They worked on various tasks such as posters, posts, logo, billboard, rollup brochures, icons, or video production. Third group, 4 students, helped to expand our existing Corporate Tax Flow application with a new Questionnaire module - an online questionnaire for clients.
Outside of work, some managed to enjoy bowling with us, barbecue at Železná studnička or Monigolf.
