PwC Slovakia Steps Up for Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday, the Global Day of Generosity, giving, and volunteerism established in 2012 and now celebrated in more than 150 countries, is a tradition we honour every year at PwC. The Advent season reminds us that sharing brings genuine joy and a sense of fulfilment.

PwC Slovakia is a socially responsible company committed to helping others throughout the entire year. In December 2025, we participated in several initiatives:

• We organized an autumn donation drive for the Community Centre in Hnúšťa, Fortuna Dúbravka in Bratislava, and the Archdiocesan Charity in Košice.
• We collected more than 40 gift boxes for the “How Much Love Can Fit in a Shoebox” collection for seniors living in retirement homes.
• Our employees provided volunteer support to Svetielko nádeje at the “Coffee, Tea, Chocolate” festival in Košice.
• The employee grant programme Helping Hand of the PwC Endowment Fund will support 12 nonprofit projects with a total contribution of EUR 24,000.
• To promote education, diversity, and inclusion, PwC Slovakia donated financial contributions to Rozmanita and Spojená škola Mokrohájska, and launched the sale of artwork created by children from these schools.
• From Giving Tuesday until the PwC Christmas Party, a financial fundraising campaign is held among PwC employees to support the Plamienok nonprofit organization.
