We joined Giving Tuesday Initiative

Every year, PwC takes part in Giving Tuesday - a day of generosity, donation and volunteering, founded in 2012 and held in more than 150 countries. The Advent season reminds us that sharing what we have with others brings us true joy and satisfaction. PwC Slovakia is a socially responsible company that helps all year round. In December 2024, we participated in the following activities:

• 26 of our colleagues donated blood at the end of November at the Bratislava office.
• As part of the autumn material collection, we collected over 100 boxes of clothing, shoes, hygiene and other necessities, which we donated to SPDDD Úsmev in Bratislava, the Hnúšťa Community Centre and the Archdiocesan Charity in Košice at the end of October.
• We participated in the collection for seniors “How much love fits in a shoebox” for the fourth time and gave 43 Christmas gifts.
• 13 colleagues participated in the collection for the UVP Košice Shelter, which takes care of abandoned and abused animals and donated material and financial assistance, hygiene supplies, food and  toys
