- PwC is a signatory of the UN Global Compact CEO Water Mandate, a public-private initiative to assist companies in preparing, implementing, and disclosing sustainable development principles as regards water.
Like other PwC firms worldwide, at PwC Slovakia we are also implementing the most environmentally efficient procedures into our activities. We are integrating our environmental strategy into our daily activities, implementing principles of compliance with the environmental policy, and involving our people in resolving environmental issues.
In this context, we have taken the following measures:
- Paper usage monitoring, both-side printing setting, recycled paper usage;
- Separation of waste, paper, and plastics;
- Reduction of plastic waste production by using refillable water containers, instead of bottles;
- Reduction of emissions during business trips by switching to video conferencing;
- Internal environmental campaigns.
