Katarína Šilhárová appointed new Partner at PwC Slovakia

Bratislava, 2 June 2021 – Mrs. Katarína Šilhárová from the Assurance Department became a new Partner at PwC Slovakia effective from 1 July 2021.

Mrs. Katarína Šilhárová has been working in the Assurance Department, she is a statutory auditor with the FCCA qualification and extensive experience of audits and the provision of non-audit services. She is in charge of clients in the production, trade and services sectors and has specialised in the automotive industry for many years. She has a deep knowledge of statutory accounting and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), having worked on projects related to transition to IFRS. As Market Leader at PwC Slovakia, Katarína is responsible for the customer program with key customers and also for internal risk management. She is also part of the group responsible for the transformation of audit processes to make them more efficient, and for the implementation of technological changes in the audit area.

According to the TREND weekly, PwC is the largest consulting company in Slovakia based on the economic results for 2012 - 2019. The Country Managing Partner of PwC in Slovakia is Věra Výtvarová, and the Assurance Partner is Martin Gallovič.
