Bratislava, 14 July 2023 - PwC Slovensko has appointed new directors in the Assurance Department who will take up their positions from 1 September 2023 - Martin Bubeník, Ivo Cupák, Pavol Hudačko a Štefana Poláček.
Martin Bubeník has been working at PwC since 2010. He specializes in providing complex audit and non-audit services in the energy, manufacturing and trade sectors. He has led technically demanding and complex projects for a wide portfolio of clients, including consolidations of international groups. Martin holds a statutory auditor license and is FCCA certified. He has extensive experience of statutory financial statements audits and financial statements prepared under IFRS.
Ivo Cupák specializes in providing complex audit and non-audit services to shared service centres and to large manufacturing and trading companies in the automotive industry. Ivo has 12 years of experience in audit and non-audit services and statutory accounting, IFRS international accounting standards and he is ACCA certified. Ivo is also responsible for coordinating activities in the automotive industry in the CEE region.
Pavol Hudačko has been working in our Košice office since its establishment in 2008 and is responsible for its management and development. He has extensive experience in providing complex audit and non-audit services to a wide portfolio of clients, primarily in the energy, automotive, electrotechnical, services and trade sectors. He specialises in the consolidation of international groups and state aid audits. He has extensive experience of controlling statutory accounting and IFRS international accounting standards. He holds a statutory auditor license and FCCA certification.
Štefan Poláček has 15 years of experience in actuarial work. He is a qualified actuary and has led a team of actuaries at PwC Slovakia since 2019. Together with his team, he has worked on many projects in 15 countries around the world on actuarial auditing, IFRS 17 implementations, Solvency II calculations, actuarial modelling in Prophet, valuing technical reserves, employee benefit calculations and many other actuarial analyses. Štefan is also actively involved in the promotion and development of actuarial science in Slovakia and the continual education of his team to ensure they provide the very highest quality services to clients.
