New directors at PwC Slovakia

Bratislava, 30 September 2021 - PwC Slovensko appointed new directors in the Assurance Department - Silvia Marušincová, Júlia Puchalíková and Daniel Šesták from 1 October 2021.
Silvia Marušincová works in the risk management department and specializes in services related to corporate governance, risk management and compliance. Silvia has 14 years of experience in corporate risk analysis, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, conducting internal and process audits and evaluations, control and audit of programs and projects financed from EU funds and the state budget. Silvia is FCCA certified, a certified internal auditor (CIA), a certified government auditor (CGAP) and holds a risk management certificate (CRMA). She has led many comprehensive audit and advisory projects for a wide range of clients in financial services, trade and public sector institutions.
Júlia Puchalíková leads audits of various complexity, including consolidations of Slovak and international groups for a wide range of clients in production, services and trade. Julia has 10 years of experience of auditing and non-audit services, statutory accounting and international accounting standards (IFRS), and holds a statutory audit license and FCCA and DipIFR certifications. Julia is also responsible for the agenda of using service centres in audit.
Daniel Šesták specializes in providing comprehensive audit and consulting services primarily for shared services centres of US corporations in Slovakia, and for large manufacturing and trading companies in the automotive industry. He has 15 years of experience of auditing, and has been working in the Bratislava office of PwC since 2013 and has also worked within the PwC network in the Czech Republic and New Zealand. He co-founded the Košice office of PwC in 2008. He has extensive experience of statutory accounting and international accounting standards (IFRS) and holds the ACCA certification. Daniel is also responsible for internal education and development.
