New directors at PwC Slovakia

Bratislava, 21 December 2020 - Lukáš Ciran and Robert Sawyer have been appointed as new directors from 1 January 2020 in the audit department of the consulting company, PwC Slovensko.
Lukáš Ciran is part of the accounting advisory team, and specializes in non-financial institutions. He has FCCA certification and many years of experience in auditing and non-audit services. During his career, he worked for PwC in New Zealand for three years. He has extensive experience of statutory accounting and IFRS international accounting standards and has led a number of technically demanding and complex projects for a wide portfolio of clients primarily in the technology, manufacturing, trade and service sectors. Lukáš is also responsible for a number of strategic consulting initiatives on the future of finance and accounting for companies undergoing transformation.
Robert Sawyer has extensive experience with US, SEC, PCAOB and listed multinational clients. He began his career at PwC Pittsburgh (USA), where he was based for eight years. Robert joined the Bratislava office of PwC CEE in 2015 and has been working on our SEC/PCAOB multinational client portfolio in the Central and Eastern Europe region. He will continue to serve clients in the technology, retail and consumer and industrial products sectors, while working across borders with teams in the US, UK, and throughout CEE. Robert has extensive experience in auditing financial statements prepared in accordance with US GAAP and PCAOB/AICPA audit standards. Robert is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Pennsylvania.
