New Assurance Leader at PwC Slovakia – Peter Havalda
Bratislava, 4 September 2024 – Peter Havalda became the new leader of the Assurance department at PwC in Slovakia. He will manage the largest department in Slovakia with over 400 colleagues, including specialists in financial audit, non-financial audit, ESG audits and other consulting services on accounting, IT, and technology, including AI and cyber security.
He has been a partner since 2018 and has worked with a wide range of clients, most often on audits of service centres, energy firms and privately owned companies. He will continue the growth strategy of PwC Assurance in Slovakia and the introduction of strategic changes, while also leveraging the advantages of the Central and Eastern European region. The key areas of development will be innovations in the local market, effective cooperation with the PwC network of companies on a global level, and continuing to build technological expertise. Peter began his career in 2002 at PwC, is a statutory auditor and is FCCA certified.
