The Digital Operational Resilience Regulation - DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) is a new European framework for the effective and comprehensive management of digital risks of financial entities. The aim of the regulation is to ensure that companies are resilient and able to recover in the event of a serious disruption to operations that may be caused by insufficient cyber security. By introducing a unified and consistent approach to supervision in the relevant sectors, DORA ensures the convergence and harmonization of security and resilience practices across the EU.
