The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group was founded with the support of the European Commission to serve the public interest by shaping EU reporting and providing technical consul-tancy to the European Commission. EFRAG’s activities are organized in two pillars: the Financial Reporting pillar (development of IFRSs from the European perspective), and the Sustainability Reporting pillar (preparing the draft of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (see ESRS).
