In accordance with the Act on Tax Consultants and the Slovak Chamber of Tax Consultants, tax consultancy is defined as the provision of consultancy services and assistance to entrepreneurs regarding taxes, levies, fees and explaining changes to legislation. It also includes consulting on calculating the tax base and tax planning. Tax consultancy includes provision of statements and clarifications with regard to the application of legal regulations to the tax matters.
