PwC recognized as a regional Tax Policy Firm of the year by the European Tax Awards 2020

The ranking agency marked the contribution of the PwC Ukraine team in maintaining an active dialogue with the authorities on simplifying paying tax procedures as well as distilling world experience while advising Ukraine’s authorities on the taxation of different industries. In particular, for the last 15 years, PwC has been conducting the survey called Paying Taxes evaluating the ease of paying taxes in 190 countries across the globe. The results of this survey are taken into account in the World Bank’s process of preparing its Doing Business report.

The agency also highly evaluated the contribution of the PwC Ukraine team in the development of the Ukrainian government’s assessment methodology for those applying for Authorised Economic Operator status. It makes the process of customs clearance easier and allows the applying business to plan its logistics more efficiently.

In addition, on their own initiative and with the support of the management of the University of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, PwC Ukraine has been sharing valuable insights from the international taxation field and world’s best practices with students for the last 10 years.
