PwC Hosted the Event “Rebuilding Ukraine: Infrastructure Restoration & International Business Opportunities” in Warsaw

On November 13, PwC, in collaboration with the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), hosted a side event titled “Rebuilding Ukraine: Infrastructure Restoration & International Business Opportunities” at the 4th International Exhibition & Conference: Rebuild Ukraine – Construction & Energy, held in Warsaw.

The event featured experts from PwC, clients from the infrastructure, construction, engineering, and related sectors, as well as USUBC business members and partners. Notable speakers included Maryna Denysiuk, Deputy Minister of the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, and Serhiy Sukhomlyn, Head of the State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine.

Lev Holubec, a Partner at PwC Consulting Solutions, along with Greg Fishman, USUBC Secretary/Treasuer, co-moderated the discussion. It was focused on the opportunities arising from rebuilding projects and considered strategies for addressing the significant challenges related to restoring Ukraine’s critical infrastructure. This event fostered a broad dialogue to formulate essential strategies and collaborations for reconstruction.

The discussion was further enriched by presentations from the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine regarding its plans and priorities for 2025, and from the State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine about its strategic initiatives. Maryna Denysiuk also presented reforms in public investment management, the creation of a Unified Portfolio of Investment Projects, and the principles of project prioritization.
