Basic Excel commands for data analysis in the field of public health

The online course "Basic Excel commands for data analysis in the field of public health" covered 1,500 participants from all regions of Ukraine, two groups, 40+ academic hours of training during 6 months from September 2023 to February 2024.

The course was implemented by the Pact organization in a consortium with SWISS TPH and other partners with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in close coordination with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

The purpose of the online course is to increase the basic competencies of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) employees in the field of data management for planning and making informed decisions in the field of public health.

Participants had the opportunity to:

  • Evaluate their progress with a series of tests,
  • Consolidate skills while doing homework,
  • Engage in interactive study and receive feedback,
  • Work in mini-groups and sharpen knowledge with the help of practical cases.

37 participants who received the highest number of points based on the results of case studies received valuable educational prizes and awards from the PwC Academy Ukraine.
