Overview

Access to quality education — and the opportunities it enables — is out of reach for many. Since 2001, the PwC Foundation has dedicated nearly $200 million to help bridge this gap in key areas. We prioritize creating equitable pathways to educational opportunities and meaningful careers by investing in solutions that empower underrecognized groups with critical skills. The organizations we collaborate with recognize that honing soft skills and building professional networks are essential to enabling long-term professional success—and they are committed to helping expand access to opportunities where those assets can be developed. Across these areas, our work aims to break down inequities and foster social inclusion in the education landscape.

Programs

National Grants

The PwC Foundation’s national grants portfolio supports the academic and career success of historically underrecognized students. Through strategic investments in solutions that scale college and career readiness at both four-year institutions and two-year (community) colleges, we are empowering students to overcome challenges, persist through their studies and pursue choice-filled lives.

"The One Million Degrees team is immensely grateful for the support of the PwC Foundation, whose commitment to closing the opportunity gap aligns seamlessly with our mission. The Foundation's belief, collaboration and investment have enabled us to launch a bold new model that has quadrupled the number of students we serve. We look forward to making a lasting impact in our communities by preparing students for success in their post-secondary plans and empowering them on their career pathways."

Veterans Commitment

The PwC Foundation supports military veterans and their families and helps equip them with the resources and training to succeed in transitioning from active service to civilian employment. Since 2015, the Foundation’s Veterans Commitment has resulted in over $26 million in investments. This commitment is a testament to our belief in the extraordinary potential of veterans, recognizing their resilience, leadership and unique skills that can drive impactful change in their communities and beyond.

"We are humbled, honored and lucky to have worked with the PwC Foundation. Their incredible support—spanning 250 colleagues who have participated in over 100 classes, 15 office locations hosting our programs and numerous virtual efforts—has been instrumental in advancing our mission. The PwC Foundation has truly embodied a commitment to equipping veterans and military spouses for successful transitions into meaningful civilian careers."
