ChatPwC, PwC’s GenAI chatbot, continues to demonstrate its value in streamlining complex tasks and fostering collaboration between our teams and clients. In a recent engagement with a transportation company undergoing a workforce transformation, ChatPwC played a key role in helping PwC's engagement team create a detailed dashboard to consolidate planned changes.
The team, led by Susan Drea, a Workforce Transformation managing director, and supported by senior associates Bahar Pishdadian and Maitlin Combs, faced the challenge of identifying over 400 operational adjustments across 10 workstreams. To effectively communicate and manage these changes, they needed a solution that could transform complex data sets into interactive visual reports.
With ChatPwC's step-by-step instructions, the team was able to create a change impact dashboard—and troubleshoot along the way while revising and reviewing GenAI’s output at each turn. GenAI helped shorten the learning curve around building the dashboard to display the current and future states of the transformation and specific details around each individual change that needed to take place. Complete with interactive filtering components (i.e., pie charts and bar charts), the dashboard provided the client with a way to visualize and analyze the impacts of the transformation.
"The real value of ChatPwC's guidance was in how the dashboards allowed the client to understand and engage with the change strategy," said Susan. The team's data-driven approach empowered the client to make informed decisions. For example, the dashboard revealed that only two employees would be impacted by a system switch, eliminating the need for extensive training sessions and freeing up the client’s resources for other tasks critical to the transformation.
ChatPwC's assistance showcased the immense potential of how GenAI can help our people further explore the capabilities of other tools, and quickly learn how to use them to deliver more tailored, impactful solutions to our clients. For organizations planning to undergo a workforce transformation, no matter how narrow or large the scope, AI-powered tools can enhance the effectiveness of change management and drive a collaborative process that can help both parties strive to achieve success.
