PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP acquires EagleDream Technologies

Integration of leading cloud transformation services deepens strength of excellence and drives impact & value in the market

New York, NY - November 17, 2020 - PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of EagleDream Technologies (EagleDream), a leading cloud-native transformation company and Premier Consulting Partner in the Amazon Web Services Partner Network (APN).

EagleDream is a unique, full-stack cloud transformation company with advanced cloud and application modernization services and other complimentary core capabilities. Together, this full stack offers user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design; cloud adoption; application modernization; development, security and operations; data transformation; managed cloud services; and digital differentiation.  

Among the highly skilled cloud professionals at EagleDream joining through the acquisition, PwC also welcomes multiple APN Ambassadors. APN Ambassadors are highly qualified technical individuals who work for an APN Consulting Partner. As a highly selective community of less than 200 members globally and less than 50 in North America, these experts work closely with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solution Architects to migrate, design, implement and monitor AWS workloads.

The sale is specific to the US member firm of the PricewaterhouseCoopers network. Upon closing, the approximate 100 employees of EagleDream will transition to PwC’s US Advisory business.

The parties have entered into a definitive agreement for the transaction and are working toward the deal’s closing. The closing is subject to conditions that are customary for transactions of this type and is expected to take place shortly following the completion of these conditions. Momentum Cybersecurity Group, LLC is acting as exclusive financial advisor to PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, and Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP is serving as legal counsel. DC Advisory is acting as exclusive financial advisor to EagleDream, and Trevett Cristo is serving as legal counsel.
