PwC helps client navigate change with ChatPwC

In a fast-paced business environment, effectively communicating major organizational changes can be a daunting task due to the complexity of the messages involved—not to mention the many audiences they often need to address. However, with the assistance of ChatPwC, PwC’s GenAI-powered tool, Deals senior associate Russell Byrd and his team were able to streamline this process and deliver impactful results for a client’s reorganization announcement.

Russell understood the importance of clear and compelling messages, given his experience and key insights about the upcoming reorganization. To guide the announcement materials, he set up one-on-one sessions with senior leaders so he and his team could better understand the nuances of the changes taking place. The challenge was to convey not only the consolidation of four business units into two, but also the importance of working together in new ways to advance the organization.

To streamline the drafting process, Russell used ChatPwC by uploading the key messages he gathered during his client discussions, as well as a sample of previous announcements to provide the tool with context. Through careful prompting, the GenAI tool was able to generate a high-quality first draft that aligned with the client's tone and message. Russell then took the output and carefully reviewed and revised it to create the announcement, which exceeded the client's expectations.

Russell and his team were able to create eight essential announcements within the client’s tight deadline and allocate more time toward building out the strategy and the announcement timeline. "Our ability to turn around these materials in such a short window and focus our efforts on more value-add work led to us establishing a tremendous amount of trust with the client," Russell explained. “Working with GenAI gave us the opportunity to do more.”

The team’s use of ChatPwC exemplifies PwC's commitment to being human-led and tech-powered. By leveraging innovative tools like ChatPwC, PwC delivers sustained outcomes to clients, helping empower them to navigate change with confidence.
