Client-focused leader with track record of delivering results, leading through complex change and developing future leaders

New York, NY, February 5, 2024 - PwC’s more than 4,000 US and Mexico partners and principals have elected Paul Griggs to serve as the firm’s next senior partner. His four-year term will begin on July 1, 2024.

A nearly 30-year PwC veteran, Griggs currently serves on the US Leadership Team as Vice Chair of US Markets, overseeing the strategy and execution of the commercial, people, community and quality efforts across 90+ offices. Having served as a lead client partner for some of the firm’s largest clients, he has advised companies through significant global change—including business model reinvention, public offerings, acquisitions and divestitures—driving trust within the capital markets. Griggs also co-leads My+, the firm’s people strategy that empowers PwC’s 75,000 people to develop and grow their careers, including upskilling the entire workforce on generative AI.

“Paul has been instrumental in advancing the firm’s growth. He has led our strategy execution across our markets and has co-led the transformation of our people experience, focused on creating a more tech-enabled and personalized experience en masse. Both have resulted in enhancing our client experience. He also has an incredible understanding of the important role the firm plays within the capital markets. His dedication to our clients and people—combined with his breadth of experience, commitment to innovation and deep regulatory knowledge—positions Paul as a great leader to take the firm forward.”

Tyson Cornell,US Board of Partners and Principals Chair

“I’m grateful to my fellow partners for selecting me to lead the firm into our next chapter of growth. We are in an era of reinvention, with many companies looking to transform their businesses through data, AI and other advancing technologies while also building greater trust with stakeholders and upholding the integrity of the capital markets. Our purpose and strategy get at the heart of these goals. Alongside our incredible team of 75,000 partners and people, I look forward to building on the firm’s foundation of success to serve our clients in new ways and deliver on our purpose.”
