PwC USA Board appoints Sara Grootwassink Lewis as a Board Observer

Furthering PwC’s purpose-led vision with her more than 20 years of public company board service

New York, NY, June 7, 2024 - PwC welcomes Sara Grootwassink Lewis to the PwC USA LLP Board of Partners and Principals as a Board Observer beginning July 1, 2024. Sara will join Carol Pottenger, who has been an external Board Member since 2017.

Equipped with more than 20 years of experience serving on public company boards, Sara has shared her strategic counsel with numerous CEOs and management teams at complex global and domestic companies—making for great breadth and depth in boardroom exposure.

Sara is a certified public accountant and chartered financial analyst with deep experience in corporate finance, capital allocation, mergers and acquisitions, CEO succession, executive compensation, financial reporting, risk oversight and corporate governance. Her incoming role at PwC signals the firm’s continued commitment to objectivity and direction as a purpose-led, values-driven organization.
