Accountants have ImpACCT classroom materials

We are excited to reintroduce our Accountants have ImpACCT materials, designed for seamless integration into introductory accounting courses. These resources include:

  • Business Simulation: A 30-40 minute immersive experience where learners act as accountants for a young tech company. Participants use fundamental accounting concepts to guide key business decisions across five scenarios, enhancing their understanding of how accounting principles affect a company's financial health and success.
  • Video Series: Each 5-minute episode links basic accounting concepts to real-world applications, showing their significant impact on businesses, markets, and investors. Topics covered include the balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, inventory, accruals, cybersecurity, fraud, ESG, and SEC reporting.
  • Why Accounting flyer: includes current messaging and supporting details to help sell the accounting profession.

Pathways to Accounting for Liberal Arts majors

What does a pathway to a career in accounting really look like? Our Chief Compliance Office, Kathryn Kaminsky, will be diving into conversations with professionals at PwC who have successfully transitioned into accounting from diverse fields and share a little about her own journey from graduating as a history major to pursuing her CPA and beyond.
