Dr. Andrew Lyon is a principal and directs the National Economics and Statistics (NES) Tax Policy Services Economics group of PwC’s Washington National Tax Services (WNTS) practice. In this role, he provides economic and tax analysis to PwC clients in a wide range of areas, including corporate tax reform proposals, capital cost recovery, and investment incentives.
Prior to joining PwC, Drew served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Tax Analysis with the Department of the Treasury. He also served on the staffs of the President's Council of Economic Advisers and the Joint Committee on Taxation, and was a fellow at both the National Bureau of Economic Research and the Brookings Institution. He has been published widely and holds a B.A. from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in economics from Princeton University.
