Horacio Peña is a Tax Principal and Senior Economist based in the New York City office of PwC. He is the firm's global transfer pricing practice network leader. He has more than 34 years of transfer pricing professional experience (27 of those as a TP partner) conducting intercompany pricing studies and devising solutions to complex international tax, investment, and pricing problems faced by large and emerging multinational corporations. He has been retained as the world-wide transfer pricing economic advisor by many Fortune 100 companies and many of the largest pharmaceutical, technology and consumer product companies. He is currently assisting clients in the audit defense as well as in the formulation and implementation of supply-chain optimization, global profit alignment and tax minimization strategies. Through his experience in the technology intensive and life sciences industries, Horacio has compiled a vast number of computer pricing models and applied statistical and multidimensional modelling tools to the sensitivity analysis of inter-company pricing strategies and the valuation of intangible property. In recognition of the impact he's had helping his clients, Horacio has been recognized by several independent organizations including the International Tax Review’s World Tax Survey (as one of the top transfer pricing advisors) and Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC (in their Best of the Best USA surveys).
