Jason Silverman

Jason Silverman is a partner and the leader of PwC’s Chicago Mergers & Acquisitions Tax group. In this role, he specializes in structuring all aspects of domestic and cross-border acquisitions, joint ventures, mergers, divestitures and reorganizations. Jason advises private equity funds, hedge funds, corporations and investment banking firms on the tax and financial impacts of M&A deal structuring; due diligence; and tax-efficient financing structures. He also has experience in post-merger tax and operational integration and simplification projects.

Jason has significant experience in the financial services, IT, manufacturing, and retail industries. He holds a B.S. in accounting from SUNY Albany, an M.B.A. from St. John’s University, and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. He is an Illinois and New York CPA.
