Jeff Jones

Jeffery Jones is the lead partner of PwC’s National R&D Services practice. In this role, Jeff devotes his time to defending research credits and performing, managing, and directing research credit studies, in addition to leading the practice. Jeff has more than 23 years of public accounting experience — including 21 years of full-time R&D experience — making him one of the most experienced R&D professionals in the country.
Jeff has managed research credit studies and consulted for hundreds of companies throughout the country and has worked with engineers, scientists, and software developers in virtually every industry. He has authored a number of articles for industry publications regarding the research credit. He continues to successfully represent many clients, including some of the world’s largest and most valued companies, in IRS and FTB audits of their research credits.
