Jerry Stone

Jerry is a partner with PwC's Risk and Regulatory practice, and leader of PwC’s Managed Monitoring and Testing Services. He has 28 years of experience in a combination of leadership capacities, including roles as partner in two other international professional services firms, strategic healthcare executive, and Board member.

He leads PwC’s Managed Monitoring and Testing Services practice in the U.S. and has extensive familiarity in areas relating to risk management, compliance, audit, executive management, team leadership, and Board-related matters. Additionally, Jerry has far-reaching capabilities delivering Risk and Regulatory, audit and advisory services to large/complex organizations, in a variety of specialized and/or regulated industries, including healthcare, health insurance, natural resources, telecommunications and government services.

Jerry has regularly served as a strategic advisor and confidant to executives and Board members on matters related to risk management, transactions, business planning, regulatory and compliance issues, internal controls, and financial reporting, prioritizing industry issues and developing cross-functional solutions for U.S. clients.

He has served as a Board member and Audit Committee member for a large Mid-Atlantic health insurance company, providing guidance on implementation and risk management under the Affordable Care Act. Jerry has also served for three years, as a strategic executive for an FDA-regulated healthcare services company, transforming finance, operations, IT and HR functions, and implementing compliance disciplines as a business strength across the company.

Jerry’s professional and community activities have included serving twice as a male leadership representative to a firm’s National Women’s Leadership Conference, member of the National Healthcare Leadership team of partners for an international professional services firm, and receiving a host of awards such as the Baltimore Business Journal CEO/CFO Dream Team Award in 2011 and the Smart CEO Executive Management Award in 2012. Jerry graduated Summa Cum Laude from Loyola University Maryland. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Maryland.
