Naoyuki Mizutani

Naoyuki is a tax director on PwC’s Japan tax desk in New York. He joins us from PwC Tokyo, Japan office.

Naoyuki has 15 years of experience in providing various consulting services with multinational clients in a Japan inbound or outbound context, including intra-group reorganization, acquisition & post-acquisition integration, debt structuring, and any other transactions from a Japanese tax perspective. Especially, he specializes in private equity practice, such as assisting with fund raising, assisting in deal sourcing, leading due diligence, advising acquisition structuring, implementing post-acquisition reorganization plans, performing corporate tax consulting for their portfolio companies and advising upon exit structures.

Further to his career in PwC, Naoyuki was seconded to PwC Singapore for 2 years (from July 2017 to June 2019) when he was a tax manager. He mainly built relationship with various Japanese companies who operate their business in Singapore and provided tax consulting services to clients.

Naoyuki has qualifications as a Japanese Certified Public Accountant and Japanese Licensed Tax Advisor.
