International Tax Services Leader, PwC US
Sherry is a partner in the international tax services group in PwC’s Chicago office and the national Leader of PwC’s International Tax Services practice. She has over 20 years of experience in international taxation working with US and foreign-based multinational corporations. In this capacity, Sherry has assisted clients with a broad range of international tax planning and compliance services, including developing and implementing global structures, acquisition and integration planning, internal reorganizations, intercompany financing and cash redeployment, foreign tax credit utilization and international tax reporting and compliance.
Sherry has worked in both public accounting and industry as senior tax counsel for two large multinational corporations. Through her industry experience, Sherry brings a practical understanding of and approach to serving her clients’ needs. As a result of her background in both industry and public accounting serving large multinational corporations, Sherry possesses a broad range of technical skills and experiences in international tax planning, making her a trusted advisor to her clients.
In addition to her leadership and client service roles, Sherry frequently speaks at premier tax events, including the Tax Council Policy Institute’s (TCPI) annual Tax Policy & Practice Symposium, Tax Executive’s Institute (TEI) events, PwC’s International Tax Conference and various other PwC thought leadership webcasts and events, on the topics of global taxation, U.S. tax law changes and a range of other international tax topics.
Sherry has a JD from Washington University School of Law. Sherry is also a CPA and has an accounting degree from the University of Iowa.
