Based out of New York, Sulay serves many of the firm's key Global Institutional, Sovereign and Private Equity clients. Sulay has worked for more than two decades assisting clients plan and implement holding and operational structures for a diverse range of functions and products including private equity, real estate, pension funds, traditional and alternative funds, fund managers, and other classes of investors.

His experience is truly Global, as he has lived and worked in New York, London (advising European fund managers and investors on cross-border investments), Dubai, Hong Kong (leading a team dedicated to fund structuring and transaction diligence) and New Delhi.

As an international tax specialist, Sulay advises on cross border mergers and acquisitions and complex international tax matters to some of the largest global Asset Managers and sovereign investors. As the Global Relationship Partner for a large Alternatives Asset manager with over 140b$ AUM, he provides a local point of contact and links the client with PwC’s global firm-wide leadership and helps to ensure we are consistently exceeding expectations and delivering value.

For more than two years, Sulay served as a member of the Global Advisory Board of New York University’s SHACK Institute of Real Estate and was a guest lecturer for the graduate program on taxation of real estate transactions (US and International Tax). He is frequently invited to contribute to the firm's technical publications and is a regular speaker at international conferences.
