Thomas Rees

Thomas is a UK partner currently on secondment to our New York office.  He leads a specialist UK tax team and links our US firm and clients to the rest of the UK PwC firm. Prior to coming on secondment Thomas was based in Birmingham in the UK.

An international tax structuring partner by background, Thomas has 15 years corporate tax experience. He advises multinational groups on a variety of corporate and international tax issues, helping them deal with the rapidly changing international tax environment. He has worked closely in relation to many international developments in the UK, including engaging with HMRC and the OECD on recent legislative change.

Thomas has experience working with a range of clients, including many US parented groups investing in Europe assisting them with transactions such as group restructurings, acquisitions, disposals and IPOs.

Thomas holds a Mathematics degree from the University of Warwick and is qualified as a Chartered Accountant by the Institute of Chartered Accountant in England and Wales.
