The latest edition of the Global PropTech Confidence Index, created by MetaProp and in collaboration with PwC, highlights the latest trends and insights from the PropTech community worldwide.

This bi-annual publication seeks to help investors, entrepreneurs and real estate executives understand the landscape surrounding PropTech investments, along with the challenges and changes facing the real estate industry at large. Year-End 2024 highlights include:

• PropTech Investor Confidence Index is 6.4 out of 10, up 3% from Mid-Year 2024
• Startup Confidence Index is 7.9 out of 10, up 39% from Mid-Year 2024
• 44% of PropTech investors expect to increase their investment pace over the next 12 months, up from 29% six months ago
• 39% of startup founders selected single-family residential assets as their primary target for commercial deployment, the highest of all categories
• 78% of investors expect more M&A activity in 2025, a record high for the index
