About the podcast participants

Wes Bricker currently serves as PwC’s Global Assurance Leader. In this role, he brings together the combined impact of 137,000 partners and staff across the PwC network in building trust in society through innovative, high-quality assurance solutions delivered to the firm’s clients around the world. 

Previously, Wes oversaw the largest Trust platform in the world as PwC’s US Vice Chair and Trust Solutions Co-Leader, bringing together the US firm’s 21,000 partners and staff who made up its combined Audit, ESG, Digital Assurance and Tax Reporting practices. Earlier, Wes served as the PwC US Assurance Leader, and prior, was the Securities & Exchange Commission’s Chief Accountant.

Beth Sasfai is Verizon’s Chief ESG Officer. In this role she is responsible for the company’s ESG strategy, disclosure, and related stakeholder advocacy.  Her team is additionally responsible for governance policy, compliance with federal and state corporate and securities laws, providing legal support to the corporate secretarial function, and advising on other general corporate matters.
