The Application Process

Can I email my CV/resume directly to the Recruitment Team?

Do you hire international candidates?

Yes, mostly for experienced hires who have a minimum of five years of work experience (subject to work permit issuance by Ministry of Manpower Republic of Indonesia).

Does PwC hire applicants with specialisations other than Accounting?

Yes, definitely. Considering our extensive business growth and the needs of diverse workforce, we welcome applicants from Law, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, and many other background studies to deliver the high-quality services to our clients.

Can I apply for more than one role at the same time?

Yes, however we will only process your application for one vacant position at a time. If you are unsuccessful for your first preference, we may consider you for your second preference (subject to business needs and requirements).

I’m currently doing a Master’s Degree/PhD but I have more than one year of relevant work experience.  Can I apply as an Experienced Hire? 

Yes, you can apply as an experienced hire if you have more than a year of prior working experience. Our recruitment team will assess your qualification for the position you have applied for.

What should I do if I cannot find a job opportunity that matches my skills?

If you can’t find any position that is suitable for your skills (for internship, experienced and graduate), please search for the keywords “talent pool” for each line of services in PwC. A talent pool is a database of candidate profiles interested in working with PwC. We will review your application and proceed it if we have an upcoming vacant position that is suitable for your qualification.

What can I get from applying for an internship at PwC?

You can get the opportunity for training, client experience, coaching and development, insight to expertise, pocket money, and direct hiring if your performance meets our expectations.

I am a final year student, can I apply for both Internship program and Graduate program?

Sure, we strongly recommend you to apply for both of then since we conduct a separate assessment process. Those programs are aimed to provide a wide range of opportunities for you to join our fulltime employment upon graduation.

For campus recruitment opportunities, can I still apply even if my grades are average?

Sure. Please ensure that your CGPA is a minimum of 3.0 out of 4.0. For overseas graduate, you have to provide your CGPA conversion on a 4.0 scale. On top of that, we also look for applicants who possess strong personal attributes, such as communication and interpersonal skills, leadership, business acumen and technical capabilities.

If I am not in my final year, can I apply for the internship program?

Considering the aim of our internship program, we will prioritise applicants who are in their final year. Thus, we recommend you submit your application once you are in your final year.

If I perform well in my internship, will I receive a graduate offer?

Absolutely! We fairly assess your performance during your three-month internship period and provide different recommendations for your associate recruitment process (direct hire, user interview, regular process, or not recommended). If you are only able to complete less than three months of the internship program, you have to undertake the regular recruitment process to join our graduate program.

In general, our assessment process starts with behavioural-based interviews prior to offering a role. However, an additional assessment may be conducted depending on the business unit and position applied for. Please refer to the following diagram:

Assessment Process for Experienced

What is the assessment process?

In general, our assessment process starts with behavioural-based interviews prior to offering a role. However, an additional assessment may be conducted depending on the business unit and position applied for. Please refer to the following diagram:

Assessment Process for Internship

What is the assessment process?

In general, our assessment process starts with phone interviews prior to offering a role. However, an additional assessment may be conducted depending on the business unit and position applied for. Please refer to the following diagram:

I have been invited to attend written test, but I failed. Can I retake the written test?

Unfortunately, we apply one year blocking period that makes it impossible for you to retake the test unless it is already a year after your first test. We highly recommend you to prepare yourself before the written test.  

When will I be notified if I am shortlisted for an interview?

After taking the written test, the successful applicants will be notified within 2 – 3 weeks to attend the interview. The interview outcome will be informed around 2 weeks after the session.

Is there an alternative if I am not in Indonesia for the face-to-face interview?

We can consider a video interview with an advance notification from the candidates. However, it depends on the circumstance and position applied for.

Will I be informed if I get declined?

Yes. We try to always communicate any progress or result at least two weeks after the assessment day.

If I have been declined, can I re-apply again?
