Anita McOuat
National Assurance Leader, PwC Canada
Anita McOuat is the National Assurance Leader and a member of the firm’s extended leadership team. She is also the Assurance leader for the Asia-Pacific Americas cluster and a member of the PwC Global Assurance Leadership Team.
In her prior role, Anita served as the National Industry Leader, Technology, Media & Telecommunications & Consumer Markets.
Anita has been with the firm since 2001 and has led the audits of several publicly-listed and private companies in a diverse range of sectors including retail, technology, media and private equity. She has extensive experience with IFRS, US GAAP, internal controls, and mergers and acquisitions, including valuation, tax, audit and accounting considerations at every stage of the deal cycle.
Anita is active on several boards: she was the President of Canadian Club Toronto, and is the Treasurer and Audit Committee Chair of the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television. She served as a director of Ontario Creates from 2012-2019. Anita is also an instructor for the Institute of Corporate Directors ICD.D program.
