Carlie is PwC Edmonton’s Public Sector Leader and an assurance partner. With more than 14 years of experience, Carlie is known by clients and colleagues not only for her superb technical accounting and auditing skills, but also for exceptional client service.
Carlie takes a hands-on approach to leading teams, making sure there is a practical and pragmatic approach to resolving issues, developing an efficient audit and identifying and solving any risk matters in a timely manner.
Carlie understands PSAS and is connected to our National Public Sector Technical Group. She is seen as a technical leader in PSAS, the education industry and the public sector in Edmonton. She has also overseen the audits of various private and public companies including some of Edmonton’s largest and most complex insurance companies, real estate companies, and various not-for-profit organizations.
Carlie has extensive experience leading audits of large organizations in complex IT environments and has a strong understanding of controls, exemplified through her work completing Section 3416 Auditor’s report on controls at a service organization and Section 9110 Agreed-upon procedures regarding internal controls over financial reporting reports.
Carlie holds both a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction from the University of Alberta and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2004.
