Carmelo Scali is a Partner in the Financial Services Assurance practice of PwC Toronto, specializing in Banking and Capital Markets. He has experience working with a broad range of financial institutions including Canadian and US public and private clients, banks, captive finance companies, stock exchanges, pensions, and broker-dealers, ranging in size from the ‘Big Five Banks’ to small private company start-ups.
Carmelo has expansive experience working on first-year audits, ensuring a seamless auditor transition, and value-added experience for his clients. He specializes in helping clients meet regulatory requirements, better understand complex regulations and the impact on their regulatory ratios. An area of particular focus for Carmelo is regulatory capital in the banking industry.
Carmelo obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Professional Accountant of Ontario.
