Eric Castonguay is a partner and the National Leader of PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance Inc. (PwCCF). He has experience in all aspects of corporate finance, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, financings, strategic planning, turnarounds, and valuations.
With more than 18 years of transaction advisory experience working for PwCCF, Eric has a strong track record of leading complex transactions from initial idea origination, planning and valuation, to marketing and negotiation, and final bid and closing documentation.
Eric specializes in lead advisory M&A, assisting clients with all aspects of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. His primary focus is the industrial and manufacturing sectors and he is the National Deals Leader of the Transportation, Distribution and Logistics practice.
Eric also advises on senior debt, junior debt, mezzanine and private equity financing, using an extensive network of financing sources both in North America and globally. He has substantial experience in a number of industries, advising on the structure, negotiation and placement of growth financings, acquisition financings, management buyouts and stressed refinancings.
Eric has provided strategic and corporate finance advice to a variety of mid-market clients as well as larger multinational companies, assisting them develop and execute their business plans, often leading to acquisition, divestiture and capital raise lead advisory assignments.
Eric is a CPA, CA, a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), a CFA charterholder and a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in London.
