Genevieve Groulx

Genevieve Groulx is a Partner in PwC’s Calgary Corporate Tax Practice focusing her efforts on Tax Reporting and Strategy. Her clients cross many industries including Energy, Mining, Insurance, Retail and Hospitality.
Genevieve joined PwC’s Audit Practice in January 2003. Over the past decade, she has specialized in optimizing tax provision processes, compliance, and tax provision technology implementations working with large multinational corporations and small firms. She loves solving complex tax situations for clients.
Genevieve also completed a two year International assignment with PwC UK, London, providing project leadership and managing the implementation of complex tax reporting systems.
More recently she been involved in tax process improvement projects focused on provision and compliance which include:
- assessing the current state of existing processes
- recommending a more efficient and effective process including technology and best practices
- implementation of recommended process improvements and technology solutions.
Genevieve was a participant of our Global Leadership development program in South Africa in 2012 and in our internal Women in Leadership program in 2015.
She holds a CPA, CA designation (Alberta and Quebec) as well as a post graduate diploma in Canadian taxation from HEC Montréal.
