Georges Li-Ying-Pin is a vice-president in the Deals practice of PwC Canada working in the Montreal office. He is part of the Valuations, Modelling and Disputes group.</p>
Georges devotes the majority of his time to business and intellectual property valuations, financial modelling and investment analysis assignments. The valuation mandates, in which he is involved, are generally undertaken in the context of mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, fiscal planning, related-party transactions and fairness opinions.
Georges has also participated in the valuation of intangible assets in the context of business acquisitions as well as valuations for asset/goodwill impairment for financial reporting purposes.
In addition, Georges provides advice in the valuation of stock options and warrants, convertible debt securities and other derivative products, generally required for accounting purposes in accordance with IFRS, CICA and FASB standards.

In 1995, Georges graduated from the London School of Economics & Political Science (U.K.). He earned his Masters in Science from the City University Business School (U.K.) in 1996 and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He is also a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) since 2005.
