Ian Watt

Ian Watt

Partner, Power and Utilities, PwC Canada

Ian is a Partner with PwC Canada, based in Calgary. He has over 20 years experience working with Boards and Management Teams across all parts of the power and utilities value chain, from generation through to retail.  Ian has specific expertise in corporate strategy development, business model and operating model transformation.

Given the scale and pace of change unfolding in the energy sector globally, almost all of Ian’s recent work has focussed on helping utilities define future participation models to enable sustained profitable growth in what has become a highly disrupted, opportunity-rich, dynamic market environment.

Outside of his client work, Ian serves as a Board Member and Company Secretary of the Oceania Golf Players Association (OGPA), an organization that seeks to advance the professional game of golf across Oceania. Since his return to Alberta you can find him spending time in the mountains, working on his golf game, or enjoying time with his wife Meisha and their dog Daisy.
