Karina has over 20 years of experience focusing on governance, internal audit, risk management and regulatory compliance. She is recognized for her professionalism, proactive and collaborative approach and brings a continuous improvement perspective to everything she does.
Karina develops and implements risk management and governance programs, including the Board governance of strategic projects, data governance and fraud prevention/detection programs.
She plans and delivers large-scale internal audit projects focusing on strategic risks, compliance with rules, procedures, laws and regulations, as well as financial processes and operational audits. Karina also provides internal audit services on various projects aimed at improving and optimizing internal control systems and streamlining processes.

Karina is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). Her professional certifications include Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and she holds the CRMA designation (Certification in Risk Management Assurance). She is a member of the Quebec Order of Chartered Professional Accountants, the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
