Vice Chair and Global Client Partner – Strategy&, PwC Canada
As the Vice Chair and Global Client Partner at PwC / Strategy&, Matthew is responsible for leading and coordinating the delivery of tailored solutions to our most strategic and complex clients across the globe.
He works closely with senior executives to understand their challenges and create value propositions aligned with their strategic goals, with a primary focus on revenue and margin growth.
Matthew leverages strong external and internal networks from previous global and local territory leadership roles to mobilize the best teams and capabilities from across PwC / Strategy& to provide client-centric services that lead to sustained outcomes and long-term relationships.
He has over 25 years of experience in management consulting, with a focus on strategy, transformation, M&A and innovation. He has served clients in various industries, including private equity, energy, utilities, financial services, technology, telecommunications, mining, industrials and healthcare.
Matthew has led numerous engagements on topics such as growth strategy, digital transformation, customer experience, operational excellence, organizational design, and change management. He has also been involved in several large-scale mergers and acquisitions, both as an advisor and as an integration leader.
He is passionate about developing and nurturing talent, fostering a culture of collaboration and inclusion, and driving positive social impact. Matthew is a mentor and sponsor for many high-potential professionals within PwC / Strategy& and beyond.
Adding to his practice experience, Matthew acted as Vice President of Finance for a large energy client and prior to joining PwC, worked in an energy industry role.
Matthew graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce (with Distinction) and has Canadian CPA, CA and US CPA (Illinois) designations.
