Miriam Gurza

Miriam Gurza is a Managing Director with PwC’s Real Estate Consulting and Deal practices, working in our Toronto office. She has more than twenty five years of real estate financial investment and real estate systems experience and has been involved in reviews of all classes of real property, including office, industrial, retail, residential, hotel, and land. Her experience includes managing valuation assignment, highest and best use studies, and due diligence engagements. She has assisted real estate entities in the strengthening of organizational and operational efficiencies. Miriam has extensive industry experience having worked with SITQ, a real estate subsidiary of a major pension fund in the acquisitions group. She was responsible for coordination of the due diligence process on acquisitions, overseeing the portfolio’s appraisal process, and ensuring the currency of key market studies in the GTA.
Prior to her involvement with SITQ, Miriam was owner and president of Real Pro-Jections Canada for fourteen years. She was solely responsible for the introduction and marketing of a real estate valuation software solution called Pro-Ject. Miriam provided marketing, product support, product testing, training, documentation and consulting work for Pro-Ject, as well as for several other real estate-related software programs. Pro-Ject was established as the product leader for 12 years. Her clients have included the public sector entities, pension funds, institutions, developers, property owners, property managers and asset managers.
