Nick Ethier
Partner, PwC Canada
Nick is an Assurance partner in PwC’s Ottawa office and has diverse experience with audits of companies in various sectors over his 18 years. Nick spent two years working for the PwC US firm and two years working in industry as the Director of Financial Reporting for a large private real estate company.
He has extensive experience with companies reporting in IFRS and US GAAP. Nick not only leads external audits but also helps many public companies that certify on the adequacy of their internal controls over financial reporting under Sarbanes-Oxley or NI 52-109. He also helps these organizations with multiple facets of their financial reporting such as US GAAP/IFRS technical accounting, financial effectiveness, and others.
He is a longtime Ottawa resident and loves to get involved in community organizations. He currently sits on the event organizing committee for the Ottawa chapter of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Nick is also a member of the Board of Directors of the largest social housing provider in Ottawa, OCH Foundation for Healthy Communities.
