Nicole is a tax partner based in the Toronto office and specializes in global information reporting.

As an information reporting specialist, Nicole helps financial institutions and multinational corporations comply with the many global information reporting requirements, including the Qualified Intermediary regime, FATCA and the Common Reporting Standard. Nicole is one of only a few advisors in Canada focused on the area of IRC section 871(m) and the Qualified Derivatives Dealer regime.

Prior to coming to Canada, Nicole worked in the US in the areas of tax controversy and information reporting and withholding. With more than 14 years of experience with Big Four firms, Nicole has assisted multinational financial institutions with large scale information reporting projects, including process and procedure development and review, operating system testing and implementation, and large-scale remediation.

Nicole is a graduate of Boston University (B.A.), Northeastern University School of Law (J.D.), and Boston University School of Law (LLM, Banking and Finance). Nicole is a member of the Bar in the state of New York and in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
