Marc Walsh

Marc Walsh is a Senior Attorney in the Immigration Practice at PwC Law LLP working out of the Toronto office. He provides a wide range of US legal services focusing on an array of business immigration matters.

Marc has extensive experience having worked many years in immigration law. He has practiced as an attorney at immigration law firms in Toronto, ON, New York, NY and Philadelphia, PA, where he gained considerable expertise in sophisticated areas of US immigration law including employment-based and family-based benefits matters as well as naturalization and removal defense. Marc has advised large multinationals as well as small businesses and start-up companies in order to navigate the complexities of US immigration law, and counseled domestic and global organizations on critical risk and policy issues across various industries, including financial services, technology, publishing, pharmaceuticals, arts/entertainment, engineering, mining, and gas/oil, in order to secure immigrant and nonimmigrant benefits for their employees and families, and provide strategies and guidance on evolving adjudication standards.

Marc has also represented individual clients before the U.S. Immigration Court, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service, and Customs and Border Protection on a diverse array of complex admissibility, asylum, cancellation and waiver issues.

Marc is admitted to practice law in the State of California as well as the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second Circuit and Sixth Circuit. He is a registered Foreign Legal Consultant with the Law Society of Ontario, Canada and is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, American Bar Association and the State Bar of California.

Marc holds his JD with a concentration in International Law from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, CA, and BA degrees in Psychology and Political Science from the City University of New York - Queens College in New York, NY.
